From May 1 to May 5, 2023, Olha Prokopenko, a researcher at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, took a Writing English course at the Atlantic Language Galway School, Ireland within the framework of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training Program.
Of all the opportunities to study in the Erasmus+ program, Olha chose these courses, because she needs the writing English every day for her work at the university, and she always has a desire to improve the results of her work.
The courses were quite intensive. In a small group, students from Estonia, Lithuania and Poland studied nominalization, formalization, text structuring, improved knowledge of grammar, writing comprehensibility and hedging.
Olha also attended possible extracurricular activities, studying the history and culture of Ireland. The school also organized a trip to the Cliffs of Moher, a very beautiful and tragic natural landmark.
New knowledge, friends and emotions are a great support for future scientific developments!
