Erasmus experience in Romania

Hi! My name is Victoria A. Ude. I am a Nigerian final-year student at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, where I study Software Development and Entrepreneurship. I travelled to Bucharest, Romania, to participate in the Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme, Disinformation In the AI Age, from February 5th to February 10th, 2024. Then we had an online session on February 15th.

I enrolled in this program because I am passionate about technology and artificial intelligence and wanted to learn more about the subject. Classes began daily around 9:30 a.m./10:00 a.m. and ended at 4:30 p.m. During the classes, my buddies and I participated in lectures, workshops, and group activities. During breaks, we got around two hours of lunchtime and the opportunity to Network with students from various nations. After a long day of classes, we were given a tour of the city, where we tried typical street delicacies, tasted coffee, and participated in a variety of other activities. Aside from lessons and planned events, we went to the mall, museums, and restaurants, tried new foods, and shot a lot of pictures and films together while enjoying the city.

What I appreciated most about this program was learning new methods to apply artificial intelligence responsibly, efficiently, and successfully. The most memorable aspect of our mobility was having fun with my course mates and the new friends we met from other universities and nationalities. It was an enjoyable learning experience.

I am always delighted to participate in an Erasmus Programme because it always represents a fresh journey for students who want to learn new things while having fun. That is why I strongly recommend Erasmus+ BIP to other students.

This program has given me a new perspective on the worldwide impact of AI, as well as new friendships and ideas. I’m grateful to EUAS Mainor for the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ BIP.
